I ordered this book for many reasons. Mainly because working in a psychiatric hospital I was amazed at the high percentage of acute suicide attempts on seemingly "normal" or undiagnosed mentally ill patients. This book helped me see the depth that emotional problems can have on day to day functioning or lack of functioning. This workbook is great for anyone interested in becoming more aware of their emotions both past and present and how our emotions effect use so profounding. There are useful techniques to use in the process.
This book has a lot of great interventions! I wish the interventions portions weren't so specific on Borderline personality though because DBT and these interventions can work for a much more broad audience.
Even if u aren't BPD, everyone should have these life skills. Excellent workbook, Amy is a great teacher!
Easy for personal or professional use and simple to understand.
