I bought this for my 95 Ford F-150 2WD with a 300 CID 6. I was getting ready to do a brake job on all 4 corners and replace the injectors.This book was less than useless.Brakes: It had great pictures of the rear drums but NO pictures or mention of the type of calipers on my truck and only a passing mention of the front rotors. The front rotors are the front hubs so when you replace them you replace the front wheel bearings. NO information of the proper way to tighten the king nut.Injectors: Great pictures and description of how to replace the injectors on any of the V8 engines but NO MENTION of the 300 - 6.

The writers of this book seem to have forgotten that not everyone is as mechanic. I guess it is too expensive to have step by step pictures in the book. A lot of steps missed or procedures started in the middle but no reference to where to find the first step. I have had other repair books from this company that were much better but it fell apart from use and had to buy another. From now on I will just stick with an internet search.

If you own one of these trucks and you plan to do any maintenance yourself, you need a good manual. This book fills the bill and covers the most common problems and solutions. Recommended for those who are quite mechanically inclined, or those who just want to know more about how their truck works.

Doesn't really cover what other Haynes manuals have in the past. It needs to be more vehicle specific.

I like this over the Chilton's manual.

This Haynes Manual is pretty decent for the number of different truck setups it covers. Downside of that is not every detail is there for every model. I would still recommend this for DIY repairs, especially paired with the Haynes manual.
