I have a love hate with this book. The truth is, there are a lot of things I will never make in this book just because I try to eat real foods. A lot of the recipes in this book look amazing, but they use things like tortilla chips, hamburger buns, lots of sugar etc...but its like a car wreck...you just cant take your eyes away. They had me at Nutella filled cookies! That being said, there are a lot of recipes that can easily be converted to a bit healthier and more that are reasonably healthy. The best thing about this book is that it really sparks ideas. I follow them on facebook and I always get a "WOW...why didn't I think of that" moment when they post a new recipe. This is truly a fun and great first cookbook and you know what you are getting from their postings. I hope they will follow up this one with a low carb version because they have some really amazing ideas. In any case, this is the most fun cookbook that I have seen in years.

....and made three of the recipes already and I'm VERY pleased on how they all turned out! I've made the Birthday Cake Banana Bread and the only improvement I can say is make more glaze! The Tequila & lime tacos are outstanding and the Reuben Egg Rolls are wonderful. Really looking forward to cooking thru the book! BUY And gift.

Although the recipes use a lot of "kosher salt," many of the recipes are based on bacon, shrimp, and cheese on meat. Nevertheless I STILL got several ideas from the book. They write that new employees gain 15 pounds at Delish, and you can see why. But if you have restraint, you can pick and choose among the recipes, and enjoy them without guilt or weight gains. I knoew this was a different type of cookbook when I noticed that while most cookbooks start with appetizers and entrees. THIS ONE STARTS with.. DRINKS. Recipes for Giggle Juice (Moscato, Pink Lemonade, Vodka); Prosecco soaked grapes; Mermaid Lemonade (rum, curacao); and more highlight the DRINKS chapter. Innovative ideas. In APPS AND BITES, The Grilled Cheese Dippers use vegetable broth and heavy cream in the grilled cheese prep. Another innovation is the Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Pretzels, as well as the caprese garlic bread that adds tomatoes to the bread to add sweetness. A highlight in the DIPS chapter is the Eggplant Parm Dip. The writers suggest over thirty toppings for burgers. I was especially intrigued by Egg in a Hole Burgers. I knew about eggs in the middle of toast, but never saw it in a burger. Their Crack Chicken dinner entree adds brown sugar to chicken tenders, limes, and bbq sauce. Their Firecracker Salmon also adds in brown sugar and fresh lime juice. The book introduced me to "hasselback" (Stockholm) style of cutting and stuffing, such as in primavera stuffed chicken breasts, and spatchcock style splitting for chicken roasting (sounds much cooler than saying butterfly, doesnt it?).I was used to making coca cola beef or brisket. But DELISH uses Dr. Pepper for more flavor. There is a chapter just for PIZZA, featuring Pizza Rigatoni Pie, Pizza Pinwheels, Pizza Pot Pie, Pizza Waffles, Cauliflower Veggie Pizza Supreme, and more. There are over 30 "hacks" for Mac and Cheese... the boxed type; and over 14 pasta based entrees. Taco Tomatoes were innovative – tomatoes replaced the taco shell. Other hits I think readers will enjoy are the Oven-Fried Pickles and Chicken Fried Cauliflower.

The Delish editors managed to make this book a delight to read! The recipes are inventive and delicious and the photos are beautiful. Every turn of the page brings more gasps of “I want to make that!” The little stories that accompany the recipes are a fun addition too. You can tell this was a labor of love for all the Delish team ! Would make a wonderful gift for the holidays! P.S. The S’mores Bake was a big hit last weekend!

I love cook books and all the new food trends...i have cook books for my instant pot I have air fryer cookbook Dutch oven, copper the list never ends!! So basically I have my share of cookbooks & It's so hard for me to find a cookbook where I like the majority 99 out of 100 of the recpies...this book is so AWSOME NOW WAT TO make so much delish I'm just overwhelmed lol so ment tips and tricks...and full of pictures every page

Just got this book yesterday..opened it up to the “first” recipe and it’s called “Giggle Juice.” Oh yes..I’m going to love this book. Seriously though..The recipes are simple and some can be modified to your diet. Beautifully illustrated dishes. I personally can’t wait to “dig in” to this recipe book. I will be gifting this book this year. “It’s a good thing” as Martha says. 😋😋😋

"Holy crap that's good!" this is a direct quote from my husband when I made Marry Me Chicken. This is from a man who cannot stand chicken. 30 years in the Marine Corps ruined chicken forever. So through out our many years, I try and sneak in a chicken recipe. I am usually met with a sigh. He tries, then eats the sides. He ate Marry Me Chicken with enthusiasm. Thought for a moment the Pod People switched him out. So Delish, thank you for this! And yes, he said he would marry me again. Look forward to making more recipes out of this book.

This is a cookbook for people who do not take their very serious love of food, um, seriously.Perfect gift.Favorites: Bacon Pickle Pizza, Chicken Fried Cauliflower, Pumpkin Cheesecake Lasagna
